GRELL 2026 Workshop
WORKSHOP- WHAT CAN CANCER REGISTRIES BRING TO CLINICAL RESEARCH?
Population based cancer registries provide unbiased real life observational data and results. Clinical research seeks more and more real-life data for multiple purposes, particularly in order to develop personalized medicine. How can PBCRs contribute to translational research? to clinical trials? to rationalization of costs in clinical research?
This workshop will provide a description of the different possibles usage of PBCR data and will insist on advantages and pitfalls of using observational data in this context.
